Hey guys! It’s been a VERY busy couple of weeks for me here at college. Between regular tests, projects, Comic-Con, & Midterms, I’ve been working non-stop, so I’ve been a zombie, trying to balance everything and not lose my sanity (at least, for the most part). I also got an A on an essay test for my Philosophy class, which I thought I would be doing horribly in, but it seems like I’m doing just fine in that class. But during this insanity, I had an epiphany. I’m going to finish up this semester off, and I’m taking next semester off to try to get an art internship and probably take 2 classes while I’m at it, so the 3 lbs of soft tissue in my head doesn’t just melt away into the abyss.
I’m currently waiting for a bunch of my pictures from my current photography project to open up in Photoshop, so that I can finish them up for the studio/ad replication project we just worked on, and once those are done, I’ll be uploading them to the blog. Well, that’s all the current news and information on my end. Until next time, Arrivederci my people!!!
Hey Guys! How’s it going? I’m officially no longer a teenager, as of Wednesday. That’s right! I’m 20! But that’s not all! I also have a boyfriend now! I just got asked out yesterday afternoon, while hanging out with him, seeing as he’s one of my friends. So that happened.
My classes are going well, too. I had a quiz on my birthday on the geography of China for my religion course, but that was fine. I also played Cards Against Humanity for the first time this week, the night before my birthday, which was also one of my roommate’s birthdays. Also, one of our friends visited for the weekend, and we had a “Family Dinner” last night, with homemade tomato sauce & pasta, as well as bread & salad and a meat-and-cheese plate for appetizers. And a trip to WaWa’s after for milkshakes. I got a Peanut Butter Cup milkshake & regret NOTHING!
So all-in-all, its been a pretty good week, and I hope that this next one will be just as good. Now, I’m going to finish some work that’s due tomorrow & then bake some of my famous homemade Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Muffins. Until next time, Arrivederci my people!!!
Well guys, it’s officially the beginning of week 2 of Junior Year of college for me. So far, nothing too stressful has happened, except for my parents visiting to celebrate my 20th birthday, which is on Wednesday. All my classes are going well so far and are pretty interesting, but 3 out of 4 of my classes are related to art/ is an actual art class, which is nice. My classes are Religions of China (which seems like a really cool class), Philosophy of the Arts (I’ve never really had any experience with Philosophy, so this should be interesting…), Art History I (it’s a requirement for my art major, but I like history, so it should be fun), and Intermediate Digital Photography (I LOVE photo, and I’ve had this professor before, so this is probably going to be my favorite class of the semester). This semester is looking like a good one, and hopefully won’t be super stressful. Anyways, I should probably get back to working on some of my digital art work, which, hopefully, is fully loaded into Illustrator and Photoshop by now. Until next time, Arrivederci my people!!!
Today, I started off on an adventure. It was the start of my 3 summer classes. Today, and for the next couple of weeks, I’ll be having Digital Imaging every Tuesday & Thursday, from 9 until about 3. Hopefully, it will all turn out well.
